WELCOME
Borovsky (vocals & guitar) grew up in the Basel region of Switzerland and began writing pop and rock songs back in the 1980s. His debut album, “Top of the Rock”, was released in autumn 2016, and since then he has put out several albums and EPs as well as a number of singles, including “A Question of Time”, “Skyscraper” and “The One”.
The songs are recorded in Switzerland, mainly in Basel, together with Roman Huber (bass, keyboards, backing vocals), drummer Michel Argast, guitarist Walter Sarbach and occasionally Roman Roth (drummer with Simply Red).
As co-producer, Roman Huber has a major influence on the arrangements, overall sound and final mix; he is also a producer and musician with the Swiss reggae outfit Schwellheim.
For more than ten years, Michel Argast and Walter Sarbach have been regulars on Borovsky’s studio recordings and live shows, and they also play a key role in shaping his sound. Together with the Swiss wedding band Flugmodus – a professional party band for weddings, corporate events and company parties – they perform regularly all over Switzerland.

Borovsky (Gesang & Gitarre) wuchs in der Region Basel auf und begann schon in den 80er-Jahren, Pop- und Rock-Songs zu schreiben. Sein Debütalbum «Top of the Rock» erschien im Herbst 2016, seither folgten mehrere Alben und EPs sowie diverse Singles wie «A Question of Time», «Whatever» und «The One».
Die Songs entstehen in der Schweiz, mehrheitlich in Basel, zusammen mit Roman Huber (Bass, Keyboards, Backing Vocals), Schlagzeuger Michel Argast, Gitarrist Walter Sarbach und teilweise Roman Roth (Drummer bei Simply Red).
Roman Huber prägt als Co-Produzent Arrangements, Sound und Downmix entscheidend mit; er ist zudem Produzent und Musiker der Schweizer Reggae-Formation Schwellheim.
Michel Argast und Walter Sarbach sind seit über zehn Jahren fester Bestandteil der Studio-Produktionen und Live-Auftritte von Borovsky und tragen ebenfalls massgeblich zu seinem Sound bei. Mit der Schweizer Hochzeitsband Flugmodus, einer professionellen Partyband für Hochzeiten, Corporate Events und Firmenevents, sind sie regelmässig in der ganzen Schweiz unterwegs.
